July 8 2024:
With continuing hostility's in the Gaza region, the US has deployed the USS Teddy Roosevelt to the Eastern Mediterranean sea in an effort to provide a deterrent in an effort to deter both Hamas, Iran and any other factions in the region. Arriving two days ago the carrier group has be actively been flying interdiction and reconnaissance missions, as well as CAP patrols to the North. With Iranian backed Hezbollah to the North, tensions are high in the region.

Mission : 
July 10, 2024:
It has been reported that Hamas units have crossed the Gaza border once again and seized a large oil/fuel refinery that is critical to Israel's infrastructure. NATO allies report that this was a lightning attack utilizing small trucks with heavy weapons, and large amounts of light infantry units, and that the refinery was taken late at night with minimal casualty's. Israeli leadership has informed US commanders that while this refinery is important to Israel's bottom line, that it must NOT remain in the hands of Hamas. Hezbollah leadership has applauded the takeover citing that Gaza must be able to produce their own fuel resources and not be at the mercy of the west, and that any attempt from Israel will result in further hostility's from the North. Israel has asked that US forces destroy the forces occupying the refinery in order for their Spec Ops teams to be inserted and retake the facility. 

There has also been reports of abnormal activity at the port of Gaza. On ingress to refinery flight will recon the port facility and take pictures of the area to determine future operations.

2. Proceed to Gaza Port WPT 2, And recon area. Provide pictures for debrief and report findings to Mission Commanders.
3. Proceed to Target WPT 3, and destroy targets assigned by FAC on site.
