Subject: Air Tasking Order 04052025 - 01
Effective Date: April 5 2205
VMFA-115 aircrew are tasked with advanced training and integration for the next few sorties. As there has been no declaration of official hostilities, the US has simply stated that the arrival of Carrier Group One is in order to solidify integration with current NATO (British) allies and to make sure that the Chileans can hold up to any NATO obligations before being granted NATO membership. Currently CVN-71 is 90 miles north of the Falkland islands and will be performing blue water operations until otherwise assigned. Britain has given full access to the 'Amber West' bombing range which consists of several bomb areas, strafing pits and live targets for practicing various weapons training. Currently the range is closed as they are completing their recent Falkland fest' exercise that is set to wrap up 7 days from today. Once open allied forces will be able to use the range once flight plans are filed.
