Exceptions To Video:
- Devil Flight will be called Uzi, the F16 Flight
- All flights have WPT 3 as BULLS
- Texaco is a KC-135MPRS (Not the KC-130 mentioned in the video)
- CAP boxes and “The Wall” mapped out via higher-numbered waypoints, sequence your waypoints to see them.
- Time On-Station: 45 minutes
- ~30 minutes for launch/arrival
- ~30 for leaving station and landing
- Overall flight time ~105-120 minutes without technical difficulties.
- All aerial contacts deemed Bogeys on the east side of the Red Wall. Not cleared to engage.
- Do not cross or engage targets East of the Red Wall (pictured above) unless you are locked up or fired upon.
- Flight leads have commit authority; no need to ask AWACS/MC for permission to engage.
- Once a Bogey crosses the Red Wall it is deemed a Bandit; engage at-will with a Bulls call.
- Example: Roman Flight engaging single group at Bulls 130 for 60.4.
- If a Bogey approaches the Red Wall, do not hard lock them, but soft lock them and sort targets with your flight such that you are ready to fire should they engage you.
- If they turn towards another flight’s zone (i.e. they approach Squid and then turn north) Squid should communicate to Roman and talk them onto the Bogeys.
- Squid should not break their soft locks unless either:
- Roman confirms they’ve sorted and bugged the Bogey(s)
- Squid has a higher priority commit.
- If they turn towards another flight’s zone (i.e. they approach Squid and then turn north) Squid should communicate to Roman and talk them onto the Bogeys.
- Do not merge with Bogeys/Bandits unless you have no other choice. Your AIM-120Cs have an advantage 20+ miles out over anything the Syrians have. Turn away if needed and have your trail element turn inbound earlier if you start to get too close.

Video In-Action (albeit a single ship): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4unQvkzUCGY
- Use 90/270 chainsaws; your boxes are 40 miles wide which makes for 20 miles legs.
- Fly 350 indicate knots as your ‘contract’ speed unless briefed otherwise by your flight lead.
- Hot element calls to cold element when turning outbound, talk the formerly cold element onto the target to build their SA quickly as they’re turning into the threat.
- Fire at ~30-35 miles (depending on your WEZ cues) and do a full-burner level turn outbound 180 in a left-hand racetrack.
- Hot element turning left for outbound and cold element turns hot in a left hand. Maximizes later spacing for cleaner shots.
- Uzi: Wpts 10 (west) and 11 (east)
- Roman: Wpts 9 (west) and 10 (east)
- Squid: Wpts 10 (West) and 11 (east)
