CONTINUATION OF PSEUDO-1967 CAMPAIGN:
- Recently we (an embedded squadron of futuristic jets) deployed as part of the IAF's massive Operation Focus that destroyed dozens of airfields and jets on the aprons, crippling the Egyptian Air Force.
- Egypt's air force is a shell of its pre-strike strength and has not left the safety of its SAM batteries in the canal zone.
- To try and regain the initiative, four columns of Egyptian armor hidden in the desert launched a surprise attack on Israeli tank installations.
- The fighting was bloody, but the Israeli tanks managed to repel the Egyptian T-55s who are now on the run with Israel's Pattons in hot pursuit.
- We have an opportunity to deal a knockout blow to several Egyptian armored divisions, but we MUST hit them before they reach the safety of their SAM envelopes at the Suez Canal.
- Stay clear of SAM rings, the Suez Canal is one of the densest areas of anti-air coverage in the world including SA-2s, SA-3s, and SA-6s.
- Intelligence indicates the SAM sites plotted exceed the amount purchased from the Soviet Union, meaning as much as 30-40% are decoys, but that is a task for another day - we are not loaded for SEAD/DEAD.
- Take off from Sde Dov at dawn.
- WPT 1 = BULLS & TANKERS (~50 miles away from Sde Dov)
- WPT 2 = REPORTED POSITION OF TANK CLASHES, ENEMIES FLEEING WEST. Engage fleeing Egyptian armor and do NOT hit Israeli Patton tanks in pursuit (Friendly Fire).
- Egress when Dakota or out of fuel (there won't be a completion message), top up at Tankers (WPT 1) on the way back if needed.
